John Hughes has died of a heart attack.
Hughes suffered the heart attack while taking a morning walk during a trip to NYC to visit family.
He directed such ’80s hit films as “The Breakfast Club,” Weird Science,” “Sixteen Candles” and “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.”

Story developing…
I loved his work. He was a true great.
He will be missed.

Pain in the Arr…Back
August 6, 2009In a a lot of ways back pain is like a migraine. It hurts to even think about doing something, to breath, to blink. Just the thought of moving hurts. I hate it. Why does it have to hurt so much. I wish I could just go to bed & wake up & be pain free. But that’s not going to happen. Oh well, time to hobble off to get more things done.

You can’t do whatever you want.
August 5, 2009Just because you have bought a bottle of industrial strength bleach & poured it all over your hair doesn’t give you the right to walk out in front of my car. & then give me a dirty look when I nearly run you over. Open your bleached blond eye lashes the next time or I might get blinded by the sun glinting off the peroxided head & not be able to stop in time.

Back to Celtic Design.
August 4, 2009What with everything I haven’t had time to do too much design lately. But since I found the wonderful Feanor Craft Shop in Bohermore I’ve decided it’s time I tried to get back into it.
Here is what I’m starting with:
I’ll keep this updated. I’m hoping to solder the designs onto the wood, but I’m going to have to test the soldering iron on a different piece of wood first though. I’ve never soldered onto wood before & I haven’t used a soldering iron since I was younger then Nic.
Ready for soldering.
The Soldering Has Started.

The Giant Pink Bunny in the Room
Posted Aug 4th 2009 1:40AM by TMZ Staff
Why ski the Italian Alps when you can climb a giant pink bunny?!

This slightly creepy 200 foot toy pink wool rabbit was erected on an Italian mountainside as part of an art installation and will remain until 2025 for hikers to climb.
Eat your heart out Mt. Everest.
